Bluestone Resort Wales is a luxury holiday park, set in 500 acres of rambling woodland in Pembrokeshire. They wanted an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and reliable heat source for their large Blue Lagoon waterpark and Adventure Centre. We fitted two ETA 500kW woodchip boilers in an energy centre, to supply sufficient heat for their demand. The boiler installation was eligible for the commercial RHI tariff thus greatly improving the financial attractiveness of the scheme.
PBESCO Ltd designed the biomass system and energy centre layout. They constructed the centre, the fuel hoppers , and installed the boilers, accumulator tanks and associated fittings and pipework. PBESCO Ltd continue to maintain and service the boilers and energy centre. They also supply the woodchip for fuelling the energy centre.
